Comparison of Deep Q-Learning, Q-Learning and SARSA for local mobile robot navigation presented by Hafiq at RiTA 2021
MSc student at UBD School of Digital Science, Hafiq Anas presented at the 9th International Conference on Robot Intelligence Technology and Applications (RiTA 2021)
“Hafiq Anas presented his initial work in his MSc at the 9th International Conference on Robot Intelligence Technology and Applications (RiTA 2021, http://2021.icrita.org/).
Hafiq’s paper is titled “Comparison of Deep Q-Learning, Q-Learning and SARSA for local mobile robot navigation”.
He is working on application of reinforcement learning in robot navigation. In this work, he presented a comparison of the performance of three reinforcement learning algorithms in both simulated and real-world environments. The three RL algorithms compared were Q-Learning, SARSA and Deep Q-Learning (DQN). The results have shown that the DQN was superior to the other two RL algorithms.
Hafiq’s MSc is being supervised by Dr Ong Wee Hong and Dr Owais Ahmed Malik.”
