Best Technical Presentation
Dr Rosyzie and her team has been awarded the Best Technical Presentation for her paper "The Evaluation of Machine Learning Algorithms for Detecting Islamophobic Tweets".
Dr Rosyzie Apong and her team has been awarded the Best Technical Presentation at the Brunei International Conference on Engineering and Technology (BICET) for their paper, "The Evaluation of Machine Learning Algorithms for Detecting Islamophobic Tweets". This project was done by final year project student Alice Takoh in 2019, co-supervised with Dr Daphne Lai.
Dr Rosyzie is a Computer Science Lecturer at the School of Digital Science at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, currently teaching World Wide Web and Applications, Programming Fundamentals and Information Retrieval. Her research areas are Text Mining, Information Retrieval and Natural Language Processing. Her current research projects are:
